12.  Helicopter aerodynamics, structures and systems

This module is required for A3, A4, B1.3 and B1.4 helicopter licences only. It is made up of sixteen chapters, including theory of flight, airframe structures, air conditioning, instruments, power, lights and blade tracking. It may be an advantage to have studied module 2: physics, module 3: electrical fundamentals, module 5: digital techniques/electronic instrument displays and module 8: Basic Aerodynamics before studying this module.
