5.  Digital techniques / Electronic instrument systems

This module is required for all licences and is made up of fifteen chapters, including electronic instrument systems, logic circuits, fibre optics and digital aircraft systems. All the ‘behind the scenes’ work that goes on to make an instrument work is considered. Knowledge of modules 3 & 4 electrical and electronic fundamentals would be useful before starting this module.
