6.  Materials & hardware

This module is required for all licences and is made up of eleven chapters, including aircraft materials, corrosion, fasteners, pipes, bearings and transmissions. This module acts as a lead-in module for module 7: maintenance practices. Module 6 explains all components before they are used in module 7.

Availability

Each module can be purchased individually or as part of the programme of study towards a specific category licence.
