The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), formerly the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA), have established a common Aircraft Maintenance Engineers’ Licence under IR Part-66 known as Part-66 (formerly JAR-66)

At the heart of ICAT is the recognised model of excellent education and training which supports an industry.
The Centre is also constantly developing a range of courses for professionals to continue building upon their existing skills.

Distance e-learning

ICAT is active in the design and delivery of e-learning solutions, for the industry standard qualification of IR Part-66 (JAR 66)

Consequently the ICAT has a wide range of students all with varying requirements learning simultaneously on one of the full-time, part-time or flexible learning courses created for their needs
